Tom's professional career spans 30 years in both private and public accounting. He specializes in corporate taxation, as well as financial and tax planning. His experience with strategic personal and business tax planning and compliance results in an adept ability to pinpoint a client's unique financial and tax issues and create solutions that focus on the most beneficial results.
For his corporate tax clients, Tom handles federal and multi-state corporate issues related to choice of entity, operations, and the transition of ownership including mergers and acquisitions. He has worked with businesses that operate as C corporations, S corporations, partnerships/LLCs and their respective owners/partners.
In addition, Tom has significant experience working with real estate clients, focusing on pass-through entities, as well as the acquisition, development and sale of properties. He is also well-versed on sophisticated tax matters affecting high net worth individuals, including owners and advisors for closely held companies and other entrepreneurs.
Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is especially proud of being a founding member of the Hamilton-Wenham Rotary Club in which he continues to be an active member and Secretary. Tom is also the President of the Essex County Estate Planning Council. Through the generosity of Anthony & Dodge, many local civic and charitable institutions receive support.
Tom enjoys spending time with his family and many recreational activities including golf.
